For whatever reason, the TW website seems to be blocking that link. It shows up normal until I post the reply. Maybe TW has blocked BAM Wholesale Parts.

I agree with other posters regarding getting a 4x4. If you intend on doing much offroading it just make sense. Then stick with no larger than 265/75/16 or 265/70/17 wheels and tires and your gas mileage won't take a huge hit. You won't need a lift for tires up to that size. And just an opinion... "leveling" is over rated. A bit of rake helps when you put stuff in the bed and/or tow. And if you are set on getting a lift, read everything you can before hand. There are a lot of issues associated with lifts that you should be aware of. Not that lifts are bad mojo, but changing the characteristics of the suspension can affect many things.

I did not know that. OP can mod exhaust (for cool factor) and be like “yea it’s v8 swap I make about 400hp. Paint some metal cylinders slap a NOS logo on and run some wires.

Welcome to the forum and listen to what the 4 x 4 fans are saying. I have had numerous occasions where I had to use it on stock Toyo A30's and, believe you me, this Taco is a very capable vehicle in Florida's mudholes. Can't wait to wear the Toyo's out and go A/T's. The resale value is a plus also.

I did exactly what your talking about bought a 2wd leveled it out wheels and tires. It was great but when I started hitting the trails and stuff wish I had gone 4wd. I now own a 4wd haha. Save the money for a 4wd it's worth it. As far as lift and everything else really no different than a 2wd. Can be done inexpensive, you don't have to spend thousands.
