Heres my 1997 Saleen Mustang mentioned in my sig. Yes it is a real Saleen. I am in the process of tweaking it to make it perfect so I can begin putting it in car shows.

Sold one of my motorcycles this fall, and I'm hoping to add this to my fleet. I'm negotiating with the guy right now, but haggling is difficult because I drove this thing and fell in love...
So technically not mine yet, but I'm sure hoping...

    Thanks! :D

And now it really is mine! I just got a call back from the owner; I sucked it up and played hard to get and got him to drop the price down another $500.
I'm picking it up on Saturday, if the weather's nice. :bananadance:

Decent shape, but it's definitely 46 years old. Needs a new dash pad; the old one is pretty sun-cracked. The seat could use a redo at some point, too. The foam's still in great shape, but the fabric on the driver's side is starting to show some wear.
Body needs a couple of spots touched up, too. No holes, but a couple bubbles under the paint on the driver's lower fender and passenger's lower door, and hood lip that'll need to be addressed before they spread. Really, though, it's amazingly solid for a truck that's almost 50 years old and has spent its entire life in Maine. Plus mechanically it seems to be 100%.

    Should be fun!

My 1984 SVO Mustang, with turbo coupe inter-cooler, HKS evc 5 boost controller (at 18psi), K&N filter, and 35IL/HR injectors. I also restored the factory rims for this summer because the 3 spoke on it are ugly. Sorry about the bad pic quality.

Nice. I've had a soft spot for those ever since I was a kid and watched one that the state police had blow past us on the interstate like we were standing still.

Agree with you on those three spoke wheels, though. :puke:

    Thread Bump.

    Another one of the fleet:
    1984 Dodge W150 w/a 225 Slant Six and a 4spd (with granny low in low range it'll pull a house....at 1 mile per hour)
However, top speed is probably around 60MPH
    Old 7.5 Fisher Speedcast plow.
It's been extremely useful to have around this winter, haha!

My 1988 LX 5.0 hatch. Getting UPR suspension goodies and TF H/C/I this spring. This project hurts my mod $ for the Tacoma.

My wifes ride. This isn't the exact picture, but hers is literally identical. 2014 Acura RDX.

The new summer ride home and tucked in the garage while we wait for nicer weather. Gave the interior a quick wipedown today before I replaced the T-stat and gave it an oil change.

I always hated them until I saw a one in metal flake bright orange with dark purple wheels at a car show a few years ago. It had a Super Beetle engine and dual exhaust with resonators on it. I've wanted one exactly like it ever since.

I have way too many other toys....starting to pair down now though. Current fleet:

1989 Ford E350 Ambulance, with the 7.3L IDI. This was my moto rig, until I bought the Taco as a new daily/motocross truck.
1995 Volvo 850 T-5R, creme yellow wagon. This is my baby/show car...fastest car in the world with an automatic transmission when it came out. 1 of 35 in the states, no clue how many are remaining.
1996 Volvo 850R, black wagon. This was my old show car. Not as rare but tons of goodies on it.
1998 Volvo V70. Plain Jane, old daily.

    2001 Honda XR400R, trail bike.
    2008 Honda CRF250R
    2013 Honda CRF450R
    2008 Kawasaki Ninja 250R.

Shot this quick vid (on my cell phone, so the audio isn't stellar) the other day of the '69. It's got the camshaft out of a 340 to make it lope a little bit, plus it wasn't warmed up all the way yet which added a bit to the lopey-ness.

Pardon the rusty bumper; it's on the list. :anonymous:
