Thanks. I sold it to pay off a bunch of stuff but im in the market for another. They get a lot of flack for speed and looks but, there is nothing like it. Cant be explained. Just need to drive one to understand. Nice to see a bunch of owners on here rock old rides tho. I love my taco but, im a firm believer in keeping all side projects historic

    Our other ride is Bonnie.

    A 14 Durango R/T, murdered out.

It actually gets better mileage than the Taco.

My chevelle. I don't mess with it much anymore, i haven't even seen it in 6 months because i keep it in my brother's garage under a car cover. I've been wrenching on my 4runner & tacoma lately. I need to drive over there and fire it up tho'.

Thanks. No it's a small block. My intentions is to install a 6.0 LS1 with a OD automatic, a pro-touring car. The wheels are 18" Rushforths. I did the front & rear suspension with fully adjustable SPC lower & upper front control arms (no shims for caster/camber adjustments), screw in ball joints and Hotchkis adjustable rear trailing arms. Big sway bars. I also installed 2002 Z28 front disc brakes on the oem drum brake spindles with PBR dual piston calipers. Kinda lost interest in it now.

It was a 1 owner southern California car before it was shipped here in 07. It's funny i still run the Cali plate on the rear, the Md. plates are in the trunk. Haven't had no issues thus far and since its a old dead tag screw all them damn speed cameras, lol.:D

Lol that's awesome! I had a 71 nova with a 383 stroker I bought from a guy in San Diego. I had it trailered to me in Chicago. My taste in the body style changed and I always loved the chevy II's so I gambled and bought the 65 before I sold the 71. I got 1 pic of both in my garage, I wish I took more. I didn't want to do the craigslist thing but decided to after a few months.....sold it in 1 day to the first guy that called and I had like 6 or 7 serious lookers. .....just shoulda done it to begin with. I thought of trying to sell this to get a 68 nova, butternut yellow with dog dish hub caps, 4 spd Muncie and a 468 BB......a real nasty sleeper. I think a full hotchkis suspension would do that car right!!!

The guy that built my 65 was gonna make a full pro street beast out of it. After the fender well headers and mini tubbing it, he couldn't bring himself to cut it up anymore. Thank god for that. This thing is solid as can be. I got the roll bar he was gonna install in my shed I'm gonna get around to selling 1 day.
