Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
I have a problem with the antecubital (front side of elbow). I can't lift like I used to since it starts hurting on both arms.

I have heard these hurt a LOT. I had a collapsed lung and that was no picnic either. Worst pain I ever had and was in the hospital for three and half weeks.

I'm. Going with severe concussion headaches, and any injury to the shins!!!

I had a really bad concussion last month, the day before that (insert "c" word here) sandy blew into town and phucked up my state... Not only did I loose power for 14 days, I had blinding headaches for 6 or 8 of those days, and had to gas up the generators every 8-10 hours!

    I still hear the hum...

Last night I smashed both of my shins on a 4 post lift rack while installing a new master cylinder in a school bus... My boot slipped off the slightly elevated lift while I was climbing up and both of my shins slammed into the platform... Phuck... That hurt...

11 years ago I was stopped on my jetski and got hit by the other jetski directly in my side. Nobody else was on the lake, so I got back on the one without a hole in the hull and rode back to the house and waited for the ambulance. 2 hours later I was at the 2nd hospital in the CT scan trying to stay still and not cry. I had 2 broken ribs, a lacerated spleen, and a bruise the size of a football on my thigh. That was certainly the worst for me, but it could have been much worse.

The Naval Dentists I've had have been pretty great, aside from the ones in Boot Camp that took my wisdoms out "expeditiously". The dry sockets were a bitch.

    Emotional Pain is my answer.

A lifetime in construction (40+ years) has left me with a bad back...bad hips...bad knees...elbows...and hands.

this old carpenter has hands so stiff in the morning I have to work the fingers one by one before I can hold a cup of coffee...

and did I mention I broke both ankles this past May...yep, both ankles in one hurrried mistake. hurt like hell for 6 months...and still does...but I soldier on.

I'm old...and worn out...but still tough as nails. I'll work to the end because I love it so. And wood working is my blessing.

    however...

having noted my laundry list of daily physical pains...nothing, NOTHING hurts me like emotional pain.

Physically, I can endure...but inside I'm of tender heart. And while I never shed a tear through all the battle wounds over the years...I'm a man who still weeps over the passing of his dear mother 2 years ago on Christmas Eve. And I cried like a little girl when those kids were killed in New Town a few weeks ago. :(

no matter how much of a tough guy or girl we say we are, emotional pain gets us all.

I am sorry about your mother as well. :(
