    All,

A loud buzzing noise is coming from this part. It is located underneath the center console.....I believe its a part of the Heater Unit. Please advise on what part this is and any recommended distributors.

    Thanks.

my parents 2000 Avalons was making a weird noise and it would just flutter and stuff. I took it off, tore it apart and re-indexed the spring and BAM! worked like a champ! Never had a problem with it again.

A blend door actuator is what mixes the cold & hot air when you turn the temp knob. It blends the cold & hot air using a door, hence the name.

the parts guys at my local dealer called it a heater servo actuator, i asked if its the same as the blend door actuator and they looked at me like i was speaking greek...... which it is the same part. it costs $150 bucs so i passed and will try brelants recommendations or keep trolling the junk yards for one.

    Many Thanks!
