Sorry, I'm a complete noob when it comes to suspension modifications. But my understanding that the coilover solution consists of the prebuilt shock/coil assembly. You simply install that and you have your lift. Easy-Peasy. But most kits I see are only two shocks. I'd imagine you need more than that to complete a whole lift. Like two AALs and four coilovers in total. That is what makes sense to me. Did I miss any other parts that I'd need to buy separately to complete an installation??

I've bought an '09 dbl cab long bed TRD Sport and haven't received it just yet. Otherwise, I'm pretty sure I could figure it out by seeing the underside. But am wanting to get ahead of the game ;)

Coilovers for the front, leaf pack or AAL and shocks for the back... And if you're doing a 3 inch lift you should get new upper control arms as well (these are in the front)

so no coils in the back.
strut/coil set for the front, AALs & shocks for the back and an upper control arm. It all fits in the stock locations. I imagine the struts/shocks need to be longer than stock to get full range right? Like how a 3/2 or other cheaper lifts will limit the range either up or down.
