    CCW is pretty near impossible in SoCal, and I suspect the penalty for violating it leads to another form of violation, so that's not an option my ass wants to experience either. But seriously, some of you guys roll with AR's and handguns in the cab with you, like it's no big deal? Wow. And you leave these in the truck when you go places? Hmmm

    For personal protection I carry 1) fuel to drive away fast 2) a stupid grin to look not worth anyone's time and 3) most days a stink that can only be achieved in a studio environment, like a skunk that burns hair.....

    The ONLY time i drive like this is when im in transit. I dont like driving with it on my hip plus god forbid i needed it in a hurry while behind the wheel, theres no drawing it from my hip in any decent amount of time. So its here while im in the truck, otherwise on my body.

    I am not sure about guns, heard I need the sheriff's approval to carry, i'm sure it goes for carrying in your cab, as well? I do not know the Cali laws... what if i want to take my guns to a range and shoot them? Can I have them in my cab?
    As far as personal protection, i got an umbrella, pair of underwear and socks as well as gloves...
    Small Kershaw knife in my pocket, have always done this since i was a little kid, and 3D cell maglite for Lighting purposes. Do not know why anyone would need 6D, i think someone mentioned they posses them... not sure if its a real thing or a joke, and where the hell would you keep them?

    In response to the gun law questions, I would suggest you do some reasearch on CA gun laws and the laws specific to your jurisdiction. CA laws are a little complicated to answer in this thread.
