what pin strip color works with barcelona red?

Soon the new taco will be here.. I am getting pin striping on it.. I would like to know what color will works nicely on the the barcelona red.. I am thinking a gun metal gray color.
The taco I have now is sliver mica with black pin strips.
I am doing it myself.

 

I think maybe a two color pinstripe maybe the gun metal and a lighter silver I put 1st gen tacoma silver trd stickers on and it off set the red nice I'm barcalona red as well

 

now I like that idea..

 

Don't do it. It looks cheap and will make it harder to wax.

Unless you're going with painted on stripes. Then go with my usual guideline - less is more.

 

I don't like pin stripes. So I can't comment.... oh, wait..... Nevermind.

None pinstripes are not my cup of tea.

Go with the gunmetal gray if you must.

 

My experience? 2010 Barcelona Red came with golden/burnt orange ... within a yeat they began to peel apart ... I took it all off ... muh cleaner in my opinion.

Just bought a 2014 Barcelona Red TRD Off Road w/pin stripe ... had dealer remove the stripe as well as the bed decal ... once again ... much cleaner.

Having said that ... it is your truck ... at the end of the day do what you like ... everyone will have an opinion ... go with your gut.

Oh, by the way ... great color choice.

 

is it 1976 again? Why the need for pinstriping?

 

I'm SO glad my Tacoma did not come with pin stripes.

My 2001 Dodge Dakota had them. They faded and started to peel and eventually looked like crap.

NO pin stripes look good on a Bacelona red in my opinion.

It is your truck though. Do what you think looks good.

Day after I bought the truck. Used a hair dryer to heat up the stripe and remove it.

ok folks.. after I got plenty of no-no's AND I was deep in thought.. nahhh best to leave as nake.. she would be more sexy that way.. I will get the pic of it soon but here is my present taco as of now until ready to trade in. ( cell pic..) I took off some stuff off it only thing left on is my tool box and backup light,, which it will be take off soon.
