    Truck is a 2005 SR5 TRD Off-road with 173k miles.
    3 owner.
    1“ lift and leveling kit
    1” spacer.
    Tundra Wheels 275, 65, R18.
All exterior lights have been changed to LEDs. Headlights are projector style HID 5k
Truck has been regularly serviced and runs well.
Interior has upgraded pioneer head unit with backup camera. Speakers have also been upgraded.
Lights have been swapped out for LEDs too.

Very important what part of the country the truck has spent its life. Great Lakes/Northeast corrosion can be brutal on frames. Southern, especially Southwestern trucks are a definite plus.

It had the frame swapped out during the recall so rust is minimal, if any at all. First owner: Truck was owned by an elderly guy in Kentucky.
Second owner: Purchased and brought to Kansas City by a Toyota technician.
Third owner: (me) bought from dealer 3 years ago when technician purchased a tundra.

Weathertech floor mats, Bilstein 5100s front/rear, TSB leaf springs, Pioneer head unit, Mini D2S headlight retrofit.
I had a 2005 DCSB OR also, it was totaled in 2018 with 181k miles on it. Not quite as nice as yours but it had a topper and projector retrofit headlights too. I got $14,250 from the insurance company.

I would probably ask 13-13.5 for yours today. Nice truck. I would still be concerned about possible head gasket problems down the road since it is an 05. Also depends on what kind of lift/leveling kit you have.

not sure if this helps you or not, I have an 05 with 300,000kms (200,000miles) I paid 8000 Canadian, last june, and I got a good deal as 05-09 were going for 10.500-15.000 with 350,000 plus kms on them

How tragic.. I couldn’t imagine totaling my beloved truck. Did you apply that money towards a Tacoma?

My Tacoma was recently valued by insurance at 16k. Not sure how that translates in value, but it’s a very nice truck.

I did buy a 2010 Tacoma last year with the money from my old one plus about $1500. I think 16k sounds a bit high for yours but not out of the question. Especially depending on where you live.

The previous owner swapped the hood. I think it’s pretty sharp!

I’ve done KBB before but it never seems to accurately translate the true value of a Tacoma which is why I am on here asking.

Values are going to be tough to nail down regardless (via typical research) the COVID19 mess shut down Manheim and other national wholesale dealer markets. Think stock market for vehicles...if there's no trading at the market there is no market data to drive cost.
In short, its only worth what someone is willing to pay. Tacoma's are tough in that sense even without the COVID19 issue. Well maintained and out of the rust belt will bring all the money...
