So far, the only problem is getting dirty from being parked in the drive way.

The only problem my 2010 has ever had is an electrical issue where the radio
randomly turns OFF or won't turn ON. It's very weird (maybe a grounding issue??).
It seems to happen more during the heat of summer.
But it never bothered me enough to have it looked at.

Strangely my 1997 Tacoma had the same issue. o_O

Forget taking it to another dealer. Just switch to Frosted Flakes, Froot-Loops, Sugar Pops, Golden Grahams, Fruity Pebbles or Cap'n Crunch.

They'll stop throwing them around everywhere.

I have a 4-way draw-bar in the hitch receiver. One of the four is a hook. It works. I don't leave it in all of the time but every so often a new scar shows up on one of the hitch balls or the hook: usually after it has been parked in the city.

    Dealership fixed all three

That's about it. Any other problems that occurred were my own fault.

Early 3rd gen 2.7 SR5 access cab, pushing 8.5 years old now:
-Bent driver side spindle from some hard off road snow wheeling this year (not Toyota's fault)
-I've gone through roughly 1,000,000 of those plastic soft-open tailgate dampers since 2016 (toyota, that's on you)
-Developed the mysterious low 500rpm idle in D and R at about 80k miles (Toyota, that's on you)
-Leaking 3rd brake light (yes, apparently that's also a thing with access cabs)
-A/C freon leak from a minuscule rock puncture (not Toyota's fault)
-After about 6 years the HVAC blower fan started making noise so I got a new oem blower

Oh, also sometimes my radio randomly resets. I have an aftermarket pioneer but it even used to do it before the upgrade on my entune system.
It doesn't happen frequently enough that I feel like it's something I need to chase down. Probably once every couple, few months

I’ve gone through 2 rear diffs, a tie rod, wheel bearings, had a wheel fly off at 70. Basically nothing that was Toyotas fault, treat your truck right and it’ll treat you right
With the way I treat it, id say its solid for 81k miles.

There're zero Tacoma owners who are dicks and, most certainly, zero on Tacoma World.

At around 30,000 km, both factory front Bilstein 4600s were warranty-replaced due being noisy and the tech was nice enough to tear the left outer tie rod boot and right sway bar link boot while replacing them. And I replaced the factory battery a few weeks ago (at 40,000 km) because it suddenly got weak, nearly stranding me.

2014 DBL cab. 75000 miles. Entune radio reboots when I get a text message. ( turned that feature off after I figured it out )
Feb 14th, 2025, Evaporator sprung a leak. I added a can and next day it leaked out. Local shop checked it and said it was evap and wants $2200 to replace. Toyota dealer is $1600. I'm taking it the dealer on 2/26/25.
No other problems at all. The evap is the only serious problem.

I replaced the tires last year and made a few small mods here and there. Other than being thirsty at the pump, nothing yet. Hoping to keep it that way and doing 60k maintenance in the next couple of months. Bought it at 38k, currently at 59k.

Front drivers side cab mount replaced at 3kms, 1 day old, then replaced again at 4400kms, now at 8500kms going in again for what I think is the same issue.
