When I ordered my truck I negotiated for a “free” bed extender.

    Craigslist FTW.

I actually regretted going with a double cab for some years, but now I found a use for the space.
Yeah, the copilot mod was by far the worst mod I’ve ever had. I fixed that though.

For me, it's the stupid add a leaf that squeaks like my upstairs neighbor of a Red Roof Inn I stayed in once, courtesy of United.

Wish I just bought an entire leaf pack.

Still a little bitter over my Leer 180...

I took care of the bed leaks, but the cap still leaks from every window and the light inside even lets water in. =\

Just a heads up, full leaf pack squeaks too...

The secret, in the future, it to buy the budget Leer line, which they brand “Century”. The century Ultra line has properly framed windows with gutters. Doesn’t look as sleek as the SUV Style, but no leaks

Ever single work truck I’ve had with a Leer cap and flush windows had leaked, eventually. The Century Ultra don’t leak, but not as stylish looking.

Nice info. Trouble is, I went with the 180 for the additional head room cuz I sleep in there (good to be short).

I honestly love the functionality of a cab cover. But I hate the look of them. Kind of good and bad imo

I got a 2WD SR5 I don't mind it and have done some mods to it and overall I'm happy with the truck but if I were to do it again I would have gotten a TRD Off-Road 4x4 in Tacoma or 4 Runner depending on the deal.

Probably OEM Tube Steps, they just don't help much for entry because of location and certainly wouldn't hold up to a serious off road hit.

Thankfully I haven't had any leaks through the window. But yeah, water just comes in magically from the corners. I've just come to accept it.

I was just the opposite. I’ve owned a 2016 Taco. Upgraded to a 2018 Taco which I traded in for 2019 Limited 4Runner. My dealer is making a dealer trade tomorrow for a 2019 Taco. Couldn’t stand not having my truck. The 4Runner is great, but the convienence of having a truck outweighs having the 4Runner for me.

KBvoodoo bedrack, before the this max modular thing came out. The powder coating is falling off, and I have to strip and repaint it. I should of just went for CBI bed bars or victory rack. KBvoodoo had no lead time, and I was in a hurry. I guess the good thing was it wasn't super expensive.
