Mobtown offroad has bolt on with captive brackets the fully grab the frame. Look real nice.

Not full bolt on (some drilling) - all pro
Fully bolt on (no drilling) - mobtown

As you said, from looking there are a lot of options. By creating this thread now you will get a lot of opinions.

Good luck with whatever you choose.

    I run all pro.

I think a lot of people on here would recommend buying from whichever vendor is closest to you.

I just ordered Pelfreybilt yesterday because they're well regarded and less than ten miles from me. Where in socal are you? There are a number of good companies and fabrication guys all over depending on where you are.

    Wait for a mobtown sale.

You have pelfrey and demello. Up north you have bamf. Thats the consensus on here. If you look hard enough, you will find more companies that make sliders.

I have RCI as they were easier to get here north of the wall since a local shop deals with them.
Had I been able to get Mobtown easily I gladly would've got theirs instead.
They have the best mounting system out of all them.

Personally think paying for them powder coated is pointless. Although powdercoat is a bit more durable than paint will be, its not indestructible, and once it starts to get scratched it's going to flake off. Just hit them with cans of bedliner. Thats what I did. Figure with the amount of abuse they take may as well do something thats easy to fix.

This isn't exactly accurate. If they are prepped correctly, the powder coat won't flake off even after being scratched. Also, it's pretty easy to touch up the areas that get roughed up. Also, sliders are kind of a bitch to paint well. Takes a lot of time to prep and paint them. So I definitely understand why so many customers have us powder cost them.
