For some reason I'm thinking 3500. Stock 3.4.
I am looking for a way to gauge my throttle %'s. I held the engine at 2800 & the throttle position on the live scan read 13.7. Strikin' me as not ok.

Wide open throttle refers to the butterfly position in the... Throttle...

    RPM is just engine speed.

You can be at 9000rpm on a closed throttle or wide open throttle at 0rpm.

    Throttle is not RPM

    Wide open Throttle
    Pedal to the metal
    Put it to the wood
    Flat footed

Take off the intake hose and physically look at it.

What is the actual issue you're trying to diagnose?

If my tps is working right.
I figured by snapping the throttle or opening it & holding it, I'd be able to use the scan to see if it was indeed messed up.

Try the scan tool with the engine off, but the key in the on position. It should connect and may rear the TPS position without the engine running.

I just had it off. Sent the tb to maxbore & just reinstalled it. How would I be able to see if it was opening to where it should, when it should with the intake hose off? Or rather, that the %'s are accurately being reported to the ECM? I mean yes, I can open & close it, however that is excluding everything else that can affect the readings. The MAF for instance....

Unfortunately the bluedriver works only with the engine running. Wish I had known this was a drawback because I would have bought something else.

The TPS is in the back of the throttle you need to remove it hook up a meter to it and measure the resistance through the range as you slowly rotate it.

You can't accurately diagnose it through a OBDII scanner due to polling rate discrepancies.

That's what I was here to suggest. Using a multimeter to check it directly will give you the best answer.

I decided to look up connecting & I was able to. You have to disconnect the scanner, turn the key, put the scanner back & then connect. So pedal to the max 74%

I had. It's just that something's still off & I'm thoroughly going through sensors, etc.
I am using the multimeter & the scanner.

So when I was looking at the live data, my AFRS O2 bank 1 sensor 1 was fluctuating from 3.3 to 3.295. Back or forth about every 10-20 seconds. I have had the truck off for a couple of hours. Nothing else was changing. I had been wondering about this sensor as well. LAMBDA was at 0. Is this typical, that this sensor will do this?

These had readings with no change
    MAF - .32
    STFT - 1.6
    Timing advance cyl 1 - 5

& had I thought about it more, throttle & rpm's.... Up hill, down hill, getting on the highway, coasting at 85.... In fact a couple of days ago I read a really good explanation of MAFS & engine load & to some degree this was touched on....
