If you have a compass in your mirror, the region setting for correction between geographic north and magnetic north would be lost, so you'd have to reset that again per the owner's manual.

IIRC the 2021 SR5 didn't have automatic climate control, so no setting to lose there.

When Batteries Plus put in my new AGM battery back in June they had this fancy gizmo they hooked up to the OBDII port that they said maintained power so no settings would be lost. Guess it wasn't needed, but it looked cool :)

Disconnect the Negative cable first and reattach the Negative cable last when doing the swap and you should be fine.

Maybe attach a trickle charger to the cables while the battery is being swapped?

Yea it's all over now - everything worked out the only thing I had to reset so far was the tire pressure when
scrolling the right-arrow - guess I need to check the auto-window thing had to reset that on my wife's subaru
today when I swapped her battery. After 2 years and 2 months on a 2 year battery I was pushing it with her battery.

Fked up thing is Napa doesn't do the swap for you anymore. It's not rocket science but at my age lifting these damn batteries
    is a bit much.

Thought of that but wasn't sure if that would be ok to do. I'll figure it out again in 2 years LOL.

Sorry for the late reply, but I've been searching for an answer. I removed my stock and put an aftermarket radio. Had to reset a check light so I pulled the positive for about 10 minutes. Is it common to lose some settings on the cluster?

The one thing I really like about Walmart. You can get a battery 24/7!

When you are disconnecting the battery pull the negative terminal first.

I had to reset my auto door lock function (when you drive away). I had it disabled before I swapped out the Battery.

Okay good to know for next time, I'm kind of bummed that I lost my tire pressure menu settings.
