I have worked different ones throughout the years but this has been my favorite by far. It's my current schedule but we start off with Friday and end it Monday night for the 4 night rotation. We're also on call twice a year during your long change. (7 Days off week) Hours are 5:30-5:30

Do you get paid overtime for over 40hrs in any one week? Are you paid for the week off?
When I work 12 consecutive hrs I'm paid for 15hrs. 8hrs straight time, 2hrs at 1.5 time, last 2 hrs at double time.
All day Sat. pays 1.5 time. Sundays and holidays are double time.
Regular 5 day work week, 3 shifts. I'm currently on the 3rd shift.

Right now 10 pm to 6am
8 hour shifts, not including court time, our court scheduling has gone full retard, i lose a few days a month to court
    5 days on 2 off
    5 days on 2 off
    5 days on 2 off
    4 days on 1 off
When we hit the week with one day off then the following week our days off rotate. You cant plan for shit.

To throw another monkey in the mess im switching to rotating daywoork. 2 weeks of 6 am to 2 pm then 2 weeks of 2 pm to 10 pm. Once a month you get short changeover, get off at 10 pm then start daywork at 6 am next day.
When i hear the old fucks on the job who have cake walk positions who work permanent hours and permanent days off bitching about not getting optional days off they want i have to restrain myself from flipping out on them.

Wherever/whenever I was the Superintendent thru my active duty career I always tried to get the op ctr on Panama 2 on 2 off 3 on 2 off 2 on 3 off. 12 hour shifts usually, but every other 3 day weekend (Fri-Sat) off. Kept people happy for the most part; stuff happens on weekends and people always appreciated being able to plan stuff for their weekends off; even several months out.

I agree it would suck not to have some weekends off. The DuPont schedule allows 2 weekends off a month unless you work overtime. Another cool thing is if you take 4 days vacation when you would be back to work your 4 nights it gives you 14 days off in a row. I do this sometimes when I go out of town to visit my son. Works out nice.

1930x0405. 5 on 2 off, 5 on 3 off. Rotate into weekends every 9 weeks or so.

Kinda sucks when your days are in the middle of the week and no ones around.

I second this but usually take advantage of fishing during the week were its not so crowded like the weekend can be.

It wouldn't be too bad if I had money for ammo so I could go to the range, I usually use it to whip out the 'ol canon and shoot some photos. I got lucky I'm off for thanksgiving too haha.
