I’ve got a 2003 Tacoma. I have rhino lined the whole truck, added a new ARE camper, grill guard, hitch, stereo, side steps and customized it . Look at my profile pic to see it. It has about 112k miles on it. I’m thinking about selling and was wondering what I should ask.

The rhino, steps, and guard add nothing to value, rhino would depreciate it for the average buyer, who could also suspect damage.

Those wheels are afermarket, and tires look larger that stock. Do have spacers on them? All that could devalue because of additional wear and tear and stress to drive train, suspension, and steering comonents relative to odo mileage.

    Do you have maintenance records?

    Clean carfax? Any accident history?

Do you live in a snow state?

Need a lot more basic info before we can give you an educated guess.

No major accidents, just a small rear ender. Live in Texas. No snow. Yes to spacers. Under 110k miles. Have most of the maintenance records.

Original engine - under 110k miles
No major issues -fixed ac a couple of times. Kept most records.
No major accidents, just got rear ended and didn’t even have to replace bumper . They fixed it and I had it rhino lined to match . It’s automatic and is not a 4x4.

Yes I do need to replace the gaskets. It never overheats or leaks onto the ground but some oil does burn on the manifold.

Put a for sale sign in the window and see where it might lead

Since there are many mods onit I would think it to be cumbersome to find any near-equivalent listings or already sold for any realistic comparisons :notsure:

Ideally, $6-9k would be an assumption. That’s how much prerunner are going for in my area in CA depending on overall condition.

keep in mind, modification don’t add value to the overall price. Personally, I will steer clear of any vehicle that got rhino lined.

Depends on condition -- which we're not seeing without any photos. 112k is "low" miles relatively speaking. If it was unmodified cream puff it might pull high teens. Depends on mods and condition. How's the interior? Stock and clean, or full of dog fur and burn holes...? see bringatrailer.com

Unfortunately rhino lining the exterior either hurts your price/limits the pool of potential buyers to someone who would want that. I'm thinking you are likely in the $6-8 range. It might be worth more given you don't need 4x4 in Texas like you might elsewhere. I'd list it for $12k and be ready for it to eventually sell for closer to half of that. The used car market isn't great right now.

It is only worth what a willing buyer and a willing seller agree upon. I follow the auctions on TV, lots of people are loosing lots of money on "their" dream car. The low mileage is a plus but the other mods as mentioned above may or may not bring additional dollars. I just sold my 08 Miata, it had an aftermarket radio for bluetooth phone operation. The thing that sold the car was I had the original radio for the car, he was just that type of buyer.

Yep, same here. I would get within 100’ and see it was rhino/raptor/line-x’d and just walk away.

This is my 96 4X4, 185k miles, automatic, right after paint... I get notes and stopped all the time, do you want to sell your truck? She is in Cabo San Lucas and you NEED the bumper and lights, cows, wild horse and burrows still run onto the highway at night.
