    Lol jk.. no worries...

    I like pure sex 0.o

Okay good deal. I'll check that out. Thanks!

Thanks for the info/advice. I have looked at some Wranglers and i think their awesome but i think i'll miss having a bed in the back. Also, i know and trust the Toyota name and i know the info for them is readily available. Are the wranglers as dependable? Maybe i should search for a wrangler forum just to find out what's out there..

Toyota has a Frame Rust - Warrantee. The first generation tacomas have issues with the frame rusting from the inside out. If you take the truck to the Toyota dealer, they'll inspect it. If they FAIL it...they'll keep the truck and give you $$ for it. The 2001+ Tacomas - if they FAIL, they'll replace the frame.

Somewhere there's a PDF about this.... I think.

So, before you commit to buying any 1st gen truck - make sure the frame is good. Have Toyota inspect it before you buy it.

This video about sums it up...

I think you should get a jeep if your going to do extreme offroading but, if you want to daily drive and like going offroading every once in a while with friends and just having fun and like toyota and the fact of having a bed , get a taco, it will do the job.

    Nooooooooooooooooo

Not fuel injected. Too many miles.

    Look for 92+
I hope you plan on visiting these vehicles. NEVER make a purchase without seeing the vehicle and having a knowledgable person with you to inspect every aspect of them including taking them for a ride in 2hi, 4hi and 4lo.

FYI - If the vehicle has around 100K miles on it...it'll probably have an main oil seal leak. Look under the rig. If you see oil dripping behind the oil pan (up towards bellhousing), the main oil seal needs replaced. If you find this, you can use this as bargaining power. Ask your mechanic (or search how to do it yourself) how much it'll cost to replace. Or find a rig with less miles.
    BE PATIENT!!!!
I found a sweet 92 with only 45000 miles and a 94 with 80K miles. Both were prestine. Watch out for body/frame rust. The 92+ vehicles will have less rust issues.

If you're looking at a Jeep...Stay away from the D35 axle. Most of my customers average around 14 MPG with gearing and tires combo's.

Try and stick with a TJ. Coils all around will make for a better ride. Only down fall is they are more expensive to lift right. And the rear axle is junk unless you get a Rubicon. But they are still going for a bunch.
