I didn't think there was one at first but i found it:
    http://www.seasofaugusta.com/vehicledetails.aspx?VID=131520249

I actually first spotted it on the side of the road. Didn't know it belonged to this dealership til i did some looking around.

When i called the guy he said the price was $7900 - Site says 9900...
    What cha think?

P.S. - Tires on it are brand new. Still has the little pringly things on them.

I found a 1998 Tacoma xtra cab in mystic purple mica with only 58k miles for $10k last year. I blinked and it was gone. :(

That doesn't seem like a bad idea really..

Thanks! I like the look/price of that first one. I wonder if he changed the tranny gear ratio...

Looks like i might be getting this guy:
    http://www.wilsonmotorco.net/vehicledetails.aspx?VID=130842509

I've got him down to $5000 out the door, and it's a 6cyl.. bank already approved it and i'll be test driving it on thursday...

It will need a little work, but atleast when i'm done with it i'll know i've got a solid reliable vehicle that i can have some fun with.

I've never owned a 4cyl so I'm kinda scared to buy one :(

The add says 6cyl but you say you've never owned a 4 cyl  are you just confused between different trucks or is the add BS??

What kind of work will need to be done to it??

& im sure you already got htis but when you do the test drive be sure to test 4wd, smoothness, performance etc. Check the cv boots and all that good stuff

IMHO you should find something clean but already built a little. It'll be easier/cheaper that way.

I can see how that would be confusing 0.o - What i meant was that i was torn between a 4cyl (local) or this 6cyl (away), and decided on the 6cyl (pending test drive) because i've never owned a 4cyl and didn't want to start now lol..

Does that clarify it at all?
    Basically i'm saying that i feel better going after a 6cyl than a 4cyl.

True, problem is that banks don't like to finance stuff that's older than 2004 and anything rigged up and in better shape would be outside what i could afford with me pockets... :(

oh ok, for paint i say just make it flat black $100, 5100's & eibachs for lift w/ AAL $425, duratracs for tires $950! $6500 and your off to a good 5tart, then add in some bumpers and sliders and skids and your around $2500 with a grand total of around $9100 :D
