    hey guys!
    I have a 2006 Tacoma trd off road 4x4 6spd manual...
I have AAL in the rear, 1.5in spacer lift up front..
285/75r16 bfg mt on procomp rims
I purchased a pelfreybilt hybrid bumper about 6 weeks ago. Should be here anytime.
I don't know what to do next, and I get bored of staring at the same thing every day!
    Give me suggestions!

Ditch the spacers and get a proper lift. Then go flex the suspension and see what you need to cut to make those 285s work.

Agreed, sliders and suspension. After that a wench, err winch, the bigger the better. I prefer to do things once so I went with a Warn, but Superwinch, and Comeup are also on the top tier. Some folks like other brands but I figured when I need it, I want it to work. (Remember GVW + 50% minimum, and you can always add a snatch block for a 2:1 mechanical advantage.)

    Budget

Welcome to the most expensive free site you'll ever join.

Spend the 1st 5k on suspension and armor and a winch - then come back and we'll tell you how to spend the next $5 large :anonymous:

Well as of now that's how much I've got saved to blow on it.. but more further down. I'm thinking LT. Which is a lot more than 5k.. but a nice mid travel kit would be nice as well. Any ideas?

Buy once cry once. I have a Warn M8000s and it wasn't cheap but they run regular rebates which will knock about $150 off the price.

I'm not a suspension expert - my rig is more overland oriented so I have the basic OME kit for now.

When it's upgrade time I'll go OME BP-51 or Kings.

Not sure that will fit in your bumper - most plate bumpers require a winch with a detachable solenoid.

So TaterHarry is correct about the plate bumper/winch fit statement. All bumpers are different in that aspect, but research is half the fun of modifying your Taco. A tip would be to check the Warn website for dimensions and Pelfreybilt site to see what they recommend. I know that All Pro had recommendations for the APEX bumper that I have on my '02. Measure twice, Good Luck!
