Really....stop dicking around with the dealership. They're gonna "back and forth" this thing forever. See post #48. Try that first or to expedite things look at post #55 above. That should take care of it.

No. I would have had them repaint the fender.

I settled for $800 of compensation package. I'm getting too tired of this so I took up on that. The bodyshop estimator said it would take them to repaint the fender, hood and bumper to match the color from factory.

Last time the problem occurred because the laser knife they used to cut the film had problems, now they have working cutting machine.

They put on completely new set of clear bra, covering the cracks and touched up paint on fender. In fact, the picture you see has clear bra on it. Then give me the compensation.

The main purpose of having the touch up paint is the road salt rusting the paint cracks.

    LS1 swap with nitros.
Dealers suck. I sued a Honda dealer for scratching the rims on my S2000 putting on new tires. They owned up on it but would only offer to spray the scratched rims with clear coat. Once I filed the small claims court paperwork and the sheriff delivered it to the dealer owner they all of a sudden were willing to fix it the right way with a check to me for $3000 for 4 new rims, plus legal fees, plus expenses for another shop to put on the tires correctly.

And just like Toyota, corporate Honda could have cared less. Stand your ground on these idiots.

They did replace the entire front bumper for me after discussing with Toyota Corp (factory defect), so now it's the fender. But I already took up the $800 compensation for the fender scratch which they had touched up (I wanted it touched up to cover the scratch damage from road salt), and completely new sets of film.

That's their game plan give you a bunch of crap until you're feed up with it and say F it. Go the easy way and get someone equally as scummy as them to handle it....a lawyer.

800 bucks in overpriced dealer credit is not worth having to look at a damaged fender and mismatched Vin bumper. imo.

It's comfirmed that there is no VIN number on bottom of plastic bumper.
