Been watching for a while. Finally joined. 2002 Tacoma prerunner V6 103k miles. Came with a nasty dent that messed up bumper. Not sure what to do and how much to spend to fix it. Got oxidation on the roof too.20200125_151829.jpg

    Welcome to TW! :hattip:

This would be a good time to scrap that back bumper and get a superior aftermarket one!

This is totally a compliment; Your truck reminds me of the 1996 Nissan Pathfinder I had before my Tacoma!

Not quite sure what to do with this on the roof. I got some of that dent out, but it keeps popping back in. Not sure if I should do body work and repaint. Want to try something on that roof. Not sure what though20200125_151735.jpg

    Welcome to TW!

THIS! It's probably going to cost about the same to get a sweet offroad bumper.

I'd just drive it as is. Enjoy your truck.

I'm not sure for the 1st Gens but shipping can be a price eliminator if you are on a budget, so you might want to check with companies based closer to you.

Thanks, I do enjoy it. I enjoy getting as much back for my buck as possible. Replaced the window seals cause they had the black peeling off. Replaced the wheels and tires because one wheel was damaged and rubber was too old.18" wheels are a little bordeline on being too big.I live in Eugene Or and will see where I can pick up some local upgrades. I look at setting it up to pull a small trailer some day. Better than making truck payments.
