what should I have the dealer do before I purchase a new 2017 Tacoma

    And, should they decide to not perform the actions that he's requesting, take his hard earned dollars somewhere else. The dealer is not King in this transaction...they need to sell vehicles to stay in business. Once we stop feeling like we "have" to buy one particular vehicle or another from one particular dealer, then we, as buyers have the power. Dealers will then learn where the politeness and respect needs to start...with them. Just my .02...

    And, this illustrates my previous point...walk away from the deal if the dealer won't comply with a request that's "reasonable". Now, granted, "reasonable" may differ from person to person and most definitely between seller and buyer, but as the buyer, you have the money and therefore the power. Walk away and go to a different dealer...guaranteed, if the request is even close to reasonable, there will be a dealer that will comply and everyone gets what they want.

    Lower control arm plugs for wind noise. Didn't get mine done and first windy day they drove me insane.
