Did a munchkin/jump seat delete in my '15 AC. Removed the seat belts and looking to build some better storage back there, and a "dog platform" for my pupparoo. I'm wanting to utilize these existing bolt holes since they go straight through the floor and I can see the road through them  (It'll help reduce road noise a bit, too.)

Can anyone tell me what size or pitch they are? Another thread mentioned that they were NOT Metric, but couldn't recall the specific, and said they were nothing that they could find at Ace or Lowe's due to the unordinary threading.

    :fingerscrossed:

I would just take it to Ace and use their little board to determine the diameter and thread pitch. They're pretty thick, so I'd guess M10x1.5

The rear bolts are 7/16-20 UNF in a 2009 as I removed the belts and plugged the holes. This is a standard lap seat belt bolt size for cars sold in the US no matter who manufactured it. It probably goes back to the 1950s and has been tested and certified. It definitely goes back 50 years as a minimum

Edit- I was talking about this with a coworker a while back and he has a 1974 (or 1976) Porsche 911, built in Germany for the German market (a previous owner imported it) and it also uses this size.

Came back to confirm. I ordered 7/16-20 UNF bolts from a machine shop and they fit perfectly.

(I used a 1" to fill the holes, and bought a couple of 2" versions as well to use when I build my dog platform)
