I noticed my U-Bolts seem almost too short and the threads are barely exposed past the nuts. I'd look into new/longer U-Bolts, but not sure on the size of those.

Looks like you are missing a U-bolt as well. I'd call low range or wheelers and they could get you sizes and parts you need.

If you need to get on the road asap, just take the ubolt into Ace Hardware or something and use one of their bolt size gauges.

Best thing is to get all new u-bolts, tho.

Got a set of u-bolts from o’reillys. They’re not the same thickness, but it looks like they’ll fit otherwise. Is it a big deal if these are a bit thinner? What do you guys think?

Side note: the roads in Dallas are truly terrible.

    19mm nut. I think it's 1.5 thread pitch.

The use of thinner(smaller diameter) u bolts is not a great idea. As there is a high torque spec and they are subject to loading.

So prolonged use I would not recommend it. Driving to the stealership or auto parts store to get the correct size yeah.

    Just ask this guy.

If you don't have many threads showing then you need to get longer u-bolts asap. Longer ones are required if you have a thicker leaf spring pack (for lift)...you do not want your u-bolts to fail on you, that could lead to what they call a 'catastrophic' failure (aka your rear axle breaking loose)

After replacing my leaf springs I was told to re-torque the bolts after 500 miles. I checked at 300 and had to re-torque. hope this may be some helpful information for those replacing their leaf springs. Sure don't want to be like the guy in the video above.

Can anyone help me find the part number for a replacement bump stop for the left rear leaf spring? All I seem to find are aftermarket ones that are super expensive.

Got replacement u bolts from 4wheelparts. They were way too long, so I’ll be cutting them down tomorrow morning.
