i need to replace a 7.5 fuse in the cabin of 2017. I have regular fuses, mini and micros. They seem like the size of the micros but are a different shape. Which type are they?

I've purchased "low profile fuses" and they are the ones.

Don't spread that around.... they wish to remain "low profile"... best thing to do is stick in the highest amperage fuse you can find.... I bet it won't blow again... that's what I've done for the last 3 trucks I've had and it was good, except for a few fires and re-wiring issues, but overall... worked for me...!!

Yeah, the part that catches on fire needed to be replaced anyway. Just follow the trail from the magic smoke that tells you where it is.

Not anymore. They don't fit in the clips unless you squeeze'em real hard with pliers.

Well duh. You gotta squeeze them first. Try pounding them out a bit with a hammer.

Paper clip worked for me to get the tranny temp into the "mode"... I think paper clips are good....
Smity's idea about .22 shell sounds good too as long as it's a "long" ...not a "long rifle"... (too hard to get them in there..I just tried).. The .22 short would be too "short"... I think.
