^^^^ either this or even 16"

The FJ Trail Team Wheels are sick and they are 16"
IMO a truck should have as much tire as possible.

    6" ProComp lift. More coming.
Whatever you do, I wouldn't go with 18's. I have them and tire prices are stupid expensive compared to 16's and 17's.

It's a truck. The question should be 16 or 17. More rubber protects the rims.

    Loud as hell URD exhaust!
I guess it depends on what type of driving you do. Will this truck be offroad all the time or more of a street truck?

    16s offroad
    18s street

For example I run 20s in the summer and 16s during the winter/offroading.

I do 90% highway driving. May start to dabble in some offroading though. I was leaning towards 18's, but found a set of 17x9's with tires for $500 used local. Think it may be too good to pass up.

I just browsed through the wheels for sale section. Saw a bunch of guys w/ 17's that looked pretty good. Unless someone has some insight as to why 18's are better I am going to get them. Figure worst case I could sell them and get my money back.
