    @Trapperr

    Reason for my suggestion on the 10mm shallow swivel is for when you need to replace the door handles (which you will at some point in your ownership).

    Ok, so for tools:

    IMO, it's a bit OCD to sit there and list out each and every size wrench and socket you "need" to bring.

    Get one of those sets of metric box wrenches ~(8-24mm) and sockets, a couple extensions, some various screwdrivers, pliers, prybar, hammer, etc...

    Unless you bring the parts to replace them, don't worry about any of those weird specialty sizes like the 32mm socket for ADD hubs, etc...

    Remember, these are trail fixes... Honestly, an adjustable wrench and some duct tape will get you back home in most cases, lol.

    That's just more shit to remember to carry with you. Do you seriously carry spare door handles with you on the trail?

    Just Dukes of Hazzard that shit.

    Lol OP did state road side/trail side repairs, but I figure if he's putting together a tool bag for the vehicle, it may possibly stay inside the truck 24/7 like mine does.

    It helps to have some tools immediately available even for a repair that doesn't take place road or trail side; having that swivel with me when I went to a pick n pull helped me snatch up 2 door handles that someone else had their eyes on.

    But no, I don't carry door handles with me lol they stay in my box'o'parts at home.

    That's definitely more than sufficient for a trail socket kit. Tho I've always been skeptical of the "universal" type sockets.

    Got your screwdrivers covered with that kit, too. Nice.

    I want one of those palm ratchet things.

    Yea it's great. Although I don't really need any of the SAE sizes so it'd be nice to replace those with some of the bigger sizes that you might need that it doesn't cover.

    I replaced my cylinder head with that kit alone and a few other odd sized sockets that I had to go out and pickup. It help up remarkably well.

    And that palm ratchet thing is cool, but not good for anything that you need to put actual torque on. It's more of a gimmick imo. But it's cool regardless. Mine locks up every now and then, but if you throw it on the ground it frees up and works again :rofl:

    I would carry a 17mm for the 1/2 also, I don't like to work harder than I have to so anything over 14mm I start with the breaker bar :muscleflexing:

    Yeah, I have a 1/2"-3/8" adapter I use all the time with my breakerbar. Haven't broken a socket yet, lol
