What size tires would you recommend for my 2017 SR5 taco? I am looking to do a 2 inch lift in the future but want to get my tires first. Ive seen different opinions on the 265/75 R 16 and The 270/ R 17..

    Thanks

It might be an unpopular size, but I just picked up some 235 85 16 Wildpeaks and I love them.

I run 265/75R16s on stock suspension:

It's as much personal preference and what performance you want to give up, as well as how soon you plan to lift/mods. You might want to plan them together so you can go bigger when you have the space available and not have to re-up your tires again, but if like me you will do the lift after at least one set of tire replacements anyway, then using the stock wheels was best for me this round.

Don't discount the cost of doin' bidness... Every once in a while somebody goes +1 or +2 and then wonders why they're now getting 14mpg.

If you're getting new wheels anyway, I'd personally go 265/70/17's. May be slightly more expensive, but I like the fact you can get LR C in BFG KO2's in that size.
