    hello all,

I've got an 2009 Tacoma access cab with the short bed. I was wondering what size tire you guys would recommend? I was hoping for 33's but I'm not sure how those would fit without a lift. Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks guys!

33's without a lift not a good idea without a lot of rubbing and such. 16 inch would be 265/75/16 or 17 inch would be 265/70/17. Oh and Welcome and remember the search feature is always your friend.

Thanks for the input! Do you think a leveling kit would work its 33's?

    Fucking look it up
Need to have at least a 2 inch lift to throw on 285's (33's) and probably a decent amount of trimming

I got almost a full 3 inches and still had to trim a bit. Looks awesome, but be prepared to cut up your bumper and probably your fenders a bit.

FYI any suspension lift (unless extending travel past stock geometry) does not allow for any more tire clearance. Anyone that says they have a 3" lift to fit larger tires could have fit them stock. The wheel still travels along the same line no matter how low you push the wheel down at ride height.
