    No more Turd-gen :)
I guess attacking a member is ok these days? In that case...
Go fuck yourself you fucking blind moron. If you don't like something that smitty has to say you could use the mute button instead of acting like a fucking baby and attacking a LONG time member. As far as I'm concerned you can take your 74 posts of complete fanboy bullshit and stick them directly up your ass. Nice edit by the way asshat.
IF IF IF you weren't so fucking stupid you might actually consider smitty has some valid points and has proven helpful to many people. I took the liberty of browsing your 74 posts and see nothing of value in anything you had to say. In fact your profile pics lead me to believe your a total metrosexual and just tryna fit in. Go pose for another picture you douche nozzle. I can tell your the kind of guy that listens to Britney Spears secretly but plays megadeath around buddies...don't worry bro, one day you'll find a guy that loves you back someday.
Secondly the mods here are getting fuckin wild with what's acceptable and what's not. In the old days a member attacked another member they were banned for a while...now their posts are edited?! Well fuck me! Ban us both, fuck you all, I'm out

Ah man what I miss?! Someone just got hit with the ban hammer

OP, your question lacks a bit of info we need to help you out as in a budget.
As stated before a set of bilstein 5100s all the way around and an add a leaf (aal) would be a great affordable option without sacrificing quality. That will give you the lift you want for looks yet still keep a good ride.
However on the note of what is BEST, you could spend thousands of dollars on a set of rebuildable coilovers, new leaf springs, upper control arms... that would be the "best" lift.

    +1 for Marie at Headstrong.

Depends on the mods. Bigger tires, nicer wheels, offroad bumpers, roof racks, stereo upgrades, backup cameras, tonneau covers, camper shells, running boards, and winches. All of those things objectively add resale value as there is specific wholesale book values to those adds. Its not nearly what you paid for them but it is value nonetheless. For example a camper shell adds $129 to the wholesale value of a 2008 Tacoma with 125k miles, running boards on that same truck add $105, aftermarket or "premium wheels" add $216, roof rack only $30, etc...

Subjectively it also depends on the mods. I've sold my last two Tacomas for probably more than they were worth (I was asking over even dealer retail price). But I had (in my mind) very tasteful mods. I know they wouldn't of sold within 3 days of posting on TW and Craigslist had they been totally stock. There's hundreds of stock Tacomas for sale in SoCal, but none that looked like mine with very functional mods (added Bluetooth/navi/backup camera, roof rack, camper shell, nicer wheels/tires, tint, camper shell, roof racks, and 10" JL W3 stuffed into the small rear cubby). Along with some cheap but potent visual upgrade: DEPO black housing head lights, honey comb grill, and plasti dip emblems, those three things alone cost me <$350 but I KNOW helped me sell the truck much faster than had the front end been stock. I sell cars for a living and can tell you from experience "curb appeal" matters.

Even you don't personally care for mods, but just think like a normal consumer, which of these vehicles do you think will sell faster and for more $?

A car dealer isn't going to value your vehicle based on mods. Business is business.

True I tired to do a trade in with brand new winter rims and tires no fucks giving

But what helps if you do get your vehicle cleaned in detailed and make your vehicle smell like new car smell what ever they don't have to do helps

All I'm saying is if you dump 5 or 6 grand into your suspension, wheels, tires, skids and slides...then 2, 3 or 4 years later don't expect to go trade it in and get back money for your mods.

a couple weeks ago there was a thread with very specific questions about rear leaf spring packs/deavers. I have been passively trying to learn what i can about lifting the rear end/get better ride quality and was very interested in the discussion. you came in and said to call headstrong. what good does that do anyone? since then i seen it in half a dozen other threads. and now? i still have those same questions about progressive leaf packs.... thanks...

Passively learning, as you put it, and directly asking are two different things.

I for one also passively learn here and as well as other situations, but when it come to direct questions, I need a subject matter expert. Therefor I would call or message Headstrong for example. Doesn't mean I always will, but it does give the OP an extended avenue for his/her question; i.e. a subject matter expert.

And if you have questions and are not getting the answers you seek, it sounds like you should call Marie from Headstrong, (I'm not being a smart ass, I'm being sincere) as she/they may have the answers for you instead of a bunch of jaw jacking Tacoma owners.
