What smalls do I need to swap a new longblock?

    Well, I feel dumb for not seeing the obvious ahead of time. Just ordered the left and right front diff seals.

    One thing for sure, I am going to be super familiar with this truck before too long.

    Get a good work light, and a couple cans of Aero Kroil penetrating oil, great stuff and will save a lot of headaches with disassembly. Of course by now you might be past that point.

    Copy that, I grew up wrenching in my dad’s shop, we had a dedicated 36” x 3/8 extension just for bell housing bolts. There were also occasions when you had to use 2 shorter ones with a wobbly in between to get the top 2-3 bolts, these time helped me substantially expand my swearing vocabulary and combinations for sure.
