You have the good one if you don’t have the jbl.

That seems like a very subjective opinion - it's not earth asking bass or anything, but it doesn't sound horrible. I swear people on here think that unless you spend 15k on top of your 50k truck, it's a piece of shit. To each their own, I guess.

Problem is they all suck using normal fm with the built in antenna they have.

I guess I've never used the radio, I just use Android auto. Come to think of it, I can't remember the last time I listened to the radio in general.

Because JBL as a speaker company is mediocre at best

I guess that's fair - unfortunately I couldn't get the leather seats and sunroof without JBL. I was bummed at first thinking I'd have to spend a ton to upgrade after reading reviews here, but I'm satisfied with it for now. I'm not saying it's amazing, but according to some folks here, I'd be better off jamming a pencil in each ear than listening to JBL speakers. Maybe I just need some Kings first - then it'll sound better.

I’m just not a big fan of JBL. They don’t sound as good as they should for their prices

No factory sound system, even the upgraded ones, are worth the extra you pay for them. With that said, the JBL sounds better than the next step down and IMO is decent. I have found the audio source plays a big factor. Some XM channels sound piss-poor, some sound great, but that is XM playing with higher compression on some channels. Some of the music I stream or have on my iPhone sound great, some sound so-so.

I see myself upgrading the speakers at some point in the future, but no where near the top of my list of things to do.

That's kinda where I'm at - but in the interim, it sounds okay and I'd rather spend money on other upgrades.

If you think upgraded factory systems are not worth it then you have not listened to a properly broke in 19 speaker system in the Ram’s

Really not true. For the money they make some fine speakers for home entertainment systems.

Really don't know, and don't care. I never use the radio when i'm alone in the truck.

Just a reminder, whatever radio you have be sure to adjust the equalization to your liking. Those that leave the EQ set to default will probably have subpar sound for your ears.
