I just bought a 2022 TRD Sport, access cab with a manual transmission, and I plan to put a tufport t55 slide in unit in the bed to live out of.

The slide-in weighs in at 475 lbs and is made of fiberglass. I've already got some torklift tie camper tie downs to secure the load, and now I need to figure out what I'm going to do to beef up the suspension to handle this weight.

Wondering if I can get away with just an add-a-leaf or an add-a-leaf with airbags. Or heavier leaf pack altogether? Should I upgrade the shocks too while I'm at it?

    Let me know your suggestions.

I suggest driving it first to see if it handles the weight to your liking.

Ad-a-leaf should be enough, but you cant beat an airbag ride. 475 lbs is just the beginning....
