Everything was stock. I installed an OEM + system. The truck did come from another dealer in the state. I'm 50/50 if it's OEM or not. It was done WAY TO neat especially with the REDNECK factor in my great sate of ARKANSAS.

Apparently some ports pre-install parts of the alarm system even if you don't get an alarm. I would bet that's what you have.

It was brought up before, but many dealerships install LoJack. Contact the original dealership and ask them what they installed.

No... I'll be picking it up tomorrow after they install the Katskinz and Tint. Saturday night I'll be letting you know what I find.

    AND THE WINNER IS....

First I found where it went...

    Toyo 1.jpg

Then I pulled the fuse and NO MORE FACTORY BED LIGHTS.

Honorable mention and bonus points goes to the ones that thought is was a port add on.

Awesome news, mystery is solved. I wish those port installed options were available everywhere in the USA, I would love to have bed lights and power tailgate from the "factory".

It is a distributor option installed before the truck reaches the dealership. Dealerships in the Gulf States and Southeast get their vehicles from a distributor not Toyota direct.

Mine too. You can buy it and do it yourself, pop-a-lock is the brand. Threads all over here on Tacoma World explaining how to do it.
