going 75 on an open highway in the middle nowhere at like 10am, an officer gave me a ticket for $350, any other officer would have given you a warning maybe, but this officer was wearing a hat, if the officer is wearing a hat, you're f-ed.

I hate that, and the perfectly straight 3 lane roads that run through the same commercial district and go up and down in speed limits 5 times in 5 miles. 35, to 40, to 30, then 35 again, then 30...

    Oh, and $275 for speeding.

About 12 years ago. 89 in a 35, reckless, negligent, no front plate. 1600 in fines.

I cut someone off trying to catch my exit on the highway, he follows me flashing his highbeams trying to get me to pull over (11pm at night), I take off to get away from him thinking he's trying to kill me, get past the off ramp start heading home, cop is waiting for me over the hill, he flips on his lights. I'm thinking... thank god, at least this guy will stop following me (he was being extremely aggressive). I pull over, cop pulls over, this guy pulls in behind him (at this point I'm thinking he's nuts). I get out of the car and I'm trying to warn the cop that the guy behind him is trying to kill me, Turns out the guy is an off duty cop from Baltimore city. So the cop drops 1600 in fines. I'm livid.

Hired a lawyer, all charges dropped, got an apology from the Court, and a promise that the matter would be investigated.

Sometimes the good guys do win.

I have had the best luck with Maryland State Troopers not giving me tickets. So far out of my 5 or so life time incidents with MD State troopers I've had 3 warnings and two tickets over 16 years.

So my gf and I go into a Walmart in the states grab a cart because we wanted to pick up some cheap beer to go cross the border with. I'm 21 she's 19 legal in our country to buy/consum alcohol, I filled the cart went to the cash, I put the beer on the counter to be scanned it was all my transaction she never touched did nothing and the guy refused to sell it to us because she was standing beside me.

So I left my beer at the counter gave her the keys to the car and I went back with another cart and got the same beer and went through again no problems, got me thinking though if I was a 40 year old man with a 19 year old daughter/son or family friend would he of still sold me the beer? Probably just kind of pissed me off because the transaction was only between me a legally able person and wal mart, if I wanted to go out and sell it to kids that would be my liability and not walmarts problem, right?

    Biggest fine was 172.50 speeding 65km in a 50km

have never had a ticket or even a written warning. have only been pulled over 1 time and got a verbal warning. it was for head light off. i went to windy’s it was like 9 something at night. i turned onto the back road at the red light cop was sitting at a restaurant and pulled me over right when i passed. asked where i was coming from and going. he new i could not be lying about where i was coming from because i still had half my large frosty. funny because if he would not have stopped me i would have found out they where off because about 50 feet or so the road tops a hill and drops back down and is pretty dark with no lights. that was like 3 years ago.

haha, "back road” with a speed of 50. most of out back roads re 35 an some even 25. because they are so windy and have bling hills. buses have a hard time going down them, and some have a 30+ foot drop and no guard rail.
