$73.80 to the beautiful state of Maine for being over weight on my drive axles....My actual weight was 76000,4000lbs. under the legal limit for tractor trailers BUT my 5th wheel could not slide enough to move the weight....

I have gotten pulled over more than once, but have only gotten one ticket. It was a fix-it ticket when I was 17 to go get a new DL. At that time they were laminated, & I worked at a pool and was careless... so mine was in 3 pieces and rubber banded together when I gave it to the officer. Will not ever forget the look of "insufferable idiot teenage girl" that he gave me. :/

$425 for no driver's licence, no insurance, no registration. Driving privileges suspended indefinitely.
Caught driving my dirt bike on the road when I was 15.
Charged me for driving a street bike with all of the above infractions. Bet that would be over $4000 if you got caught now...especially the no insurance.
He pulled me over for speeding actually. He must have got writers cramp and forgot about that one.

Highest $ for a single event? Just over 20k for lawyers to get away 'free'. Legal charges over a lifetime have amounted in the 40-45k range.

The alleged violations played out something like this...

Perp A is co-founder & CEO of a major US corp.
Perp B is in a related industry (but competes with perp A's company) that purchases assests from perp C and separately owns and is CEO of an investment company.
Perp C is the son of perp A, is a member of the BOD of same company that perp A is the CEO and is vendor/supplier to perp A and B in their related industries with a company he is the founder and CEO.

Perp C was alleged to provide inside information from perp A to perp B for the purpose of profit for each perp A, B & C and perb B was alleged to have shared information with perp C to provide information to perp A so that perps A, B & C could profit. This information not only involved companies related to perp A & B but, other companies that perps A, B & C delt with both domestically and internationally.

None of which is/was actually true. If it was, I'm sure I'd have better things to do then posting about it on here...

The "end" result to satisfy the investigating agency was to liquidate all associated (stock) assets and sign and affidavite not to further invest in related industries in the future. The fine or fee was the loss of what would have been gain if the stock had not otherwise been sold as well as future value of purchase not completed.

Mostly just parking tickets. My company does a lot of work in NYC and between 12 trucks we average $3k per month in parking tickets. I contribute to that, but I have been good and haven't gotten one in two months. I've been seen running in a hard hat to get to the truck in time.lol

There is no option in the poll for me.

$100,000 USD restitution fine, paid at a current rate of $200/mo. I'll be dead before it's paid off. This number does not include attorney fees, nor does it contain the additional $250,000 that was originally pursued but eventually dropped.
