Wow that's crazy expensive then. People around here get like a $250 ticket for going over 100 on crotch rockets.

    I got 21903 at 143 mph......

    or punctuated properly...

2:19:03 on a one-way, closed course open track, best time at t-hill on my 600rr ;)

I stopped speeding on the streets when I got a ticket in my 3000GT a week before my 18th.

Ticket was for double the limit in a 35 zone w/modded exhaust, headlights, engine and tint for... $2200.

Got it knocked down to.... wait for it.... $225 with a transcript from my school showing that I'm a good student *insert angel halo*, personal letter to the judge, traffic class and the officer reducing it to 15 over. Well worth it I do say.

Now I just leave on time lol.

That's stupid. :p You'd think they'd at least warn you instead of slapping you with a fine right off. We have two skateparks that I know of around here- Mount Trashmore and Woodstock. I know Mount Trashmore allows bikes. They allow everything: bikes, skateboards, roller blades, scooters, etc. I don't know what Woodstock allows though- I haven't been there before.

I rode my unicycle in a skatepark once. Fun shit. Reckless though if you catch your pedal or something.

The nice thing about unicycles they make great bar rides, the cops wont mess you you much if they figure you can stay up on one, and they dont blame you for walking it...

I did get this pic at the bike rodeo safety deally thing I helped put on for the city

Around campus the drunk chicks are all over me when I unicycle around. I let someone ride it once and she straight face planted hard. I bought her a shot for the laughs. Drunk unicycling is getting easier as I practice though.

Been stopped 3 times, two for speeding and one for trespassing.

First one was for about 43 in a 25. Cop didn't have his radar on but pulled me over and just told me to slow down.

Second was for offroading on some trail next to my girlfriend's house. We were actually on our way out until someone got their truck stuck. I was pulling him out as the cop got there. He just told us to go home.

Third was on I-10 in Baton Rouge for 75 in a 50 construction zone/workers present. 3 AM, finals week, on the way to Whataburger. I was already on the "finished" section of road and the workers were on the other side but he still wrote me for both. Ticket would have been somewhere around $650, but I paid an attorney $150 and he made it go away, well worth it to keep it ff my record.

Got pulled over in ID for speeding twice... in the same day... on my birthday. When the second cop asked for my lic/reg, I also handed him the earlier ticket. Told him he could just copy everything straight over to the new ticket. He must have felt sorry for me because he gave me a verbal on the speeding. Still nailed me for no proof of insurance tho.

Aslo got pulled over for speeding twice in the same day a few years earlier. That time was going across west TX on I-10 where the speed limit should be 150 because it's so damned boring out there. On the first stop the cop wrote me up a nice $112 fine, then kept my lic/reg and made me follow him to the next town to get cash out of the ATM and buy a money order in the name of the JOTP before he'd give me back my stuff. I was able to get out of a ticket on the 2nd stop because he pulled me over right at the freeway exit in front of the hotel I was headed to.

I've also gotten speeding tickets in NY, OH and OR as well, plus I've been pulled over at least a half-dozen other times when I was given verbals and let go. I'm no hot-rodder, I just like to get where I'm going.

A week of unpaid leave at work. I'm a Revenue Agent for the U.S. Dept of Interior, but previously I was a Revenue Agent with the IRS. In the IRS ALL TRAVEL EXPENSES on official business are charged to the Government credit card. Right after I started working for DOI, I took my personal vehicle from Tulsa to OKC. While in OKC, I charged $32.00 of gas to the govt credit card.

The penalty for such an infraction? A week long suspension. I was so mad, I almost quit. Yes, they had told me before, but a day of suspension would have gotten the point accross. All over a matter of $32 worth of gas.

So the IRS sucks if you work for them too? Sounds like a no-win situation.
