    If he wants gas mileage, buy a Prius... LOL Just paid $1,000 cash for an already painted-to-match Leer 100XQ for my 2004 Tacoma, love it! Got pre-installed Yakima Racks, a bed mat and floor liners to boot!

    :laughing: Back in the day (mid '80s) my neighbor was a crew chief/gunner on Army Blackhawk helicopters ... they used to tape stuff to the skids/etc on the outside of the helo ... with basically green duct tape ... called it "100mph tape" :cool:

    haha yea on the parasail boat that i work on the inflation pole has screws holding the top half in place and we cover them with duct tape and we just tell everyone thats all thats holding them up. but its cool its nascar duct tape. gets em everytime

    Clever. My guess is that they saw the Hummer cap on some nob's ride in JHole and decided that even though the MPG improvement would be nil on a Hummer, it'd help the Taco.
