Thanks man. So is there a big difference between the 50% and 35% on the windshield?

Cops can't test it my friend ;) it takes an edge to test. Inspection is when windshields can bite you, but we all know somebody most of the time

    Ok sweet!
Florida doesn't require a vehicle inspection

Nope, 50 is almost too light IMO. However, almost anything you put on the windshield will give total privacy due to the rake of the glass reflecting light easier. I'll take a pic of mine when I get off work if it's not too dark out.

i had mine done with 20% on the front. It matches just about perfect, i think it may be a tad darker than the factory back but you cant really tell since so much more light comes through the windshield.

I have no problems seeing at night.

    I wouldn't want any lighter than 20%.

I went 22 on the from and 50 on the backs. Its tough to see at night but it keeps the truck nice and cool. I read somewhere that you might want to put a little tint on the backs for UV protection.

Btw just some insight, tint compounds in darkness. Eg: 2 layers of 50% is about 35% -> x2 = 20% -> x2 = 5%. The difference between 15 and 20 is pretty negligible, but we were having trouble when we used 15 because it would be a hair darker than factory tints on trucks and SUVs (Toyota is the exception at 28%).

20% is the most versatile since ford,Chevy, Land Rover, etc almost all use 20% dyed glass in their rear windows.

I've got 5%. Wish I would've went darker but at least I can see out of it at night

Even though you say that was awhile ago , I imagine the logic is the same today- see something illegal, pull them over. Never know what yer gonna get!
Ive always stayed on the lighter side of tint (25%), and anything that draws attention to my vehicle for this reason alone.

Isn't 5% pretty much the darkest unless you do double 5%?

I think so. Only way to get darker would be to double 5 I think. But I've got 5% on both trucks and it'll do. Nowhere near as dark as that picture shown.

Nah not at all. Rare occasions if my window is down some I roll it down to see over the tint. Might just be force of habit now though. I don't think its bad though.

also youll probably want to do your windshield once you get your side windows done. Thats how i am anyway. I havent decided what percentage im going to do on the windshield yet though, probably 35 or 50.

Something worse mentioning. If youre going for looks my friend did 5% all around and 20% on the windshield on his car. Looks badass. with the 20% i have i often wish i went darker but im content for the most part.

What do you have on your front and rear windows? I think 20% might be a little too dark for the windshield, but hey it would be sick and you wouldn't really have to worry at all about privacy, glare, sun ect.

I live in a small town where cops are bored and looking to pull people over for things. We have the highest percentage of residents in our jails per capita than any other parish in this great state. It's name is St. Tammany, and it's called "St. Slammany" It's basically a police state which is both good and bad.

Pretty sure @Mxer256 (the yota you pictured) has something like 5% over 15% which makes for that black look and he has windshield tint. Check out his instagram i think he says it.

Yup, I hate driving my wife's Camry! I thought the darker the better! Yeah, I can barely see shit during the day, much less at night.

I would recommend 20% all around; didn't see that as an option.
