How do you like the 35 on the windshield? I'm debating between that and 50

I used to do 50 on all mine but we didn't have 50 when I bought my truck so I went with 35... Will never put anything different on any other vehicle I own.

    Windshield that is...

The reason I posted that is that the cops go Nutsball if you have the wrong shade. My buddy git a ticket for $400 for having the wring shade of his car.

I meant they see you drive by with a blacked out windshield or huge tint strip they are more likely to turn around and ticket you for it, however if you have tint on your front odds are they are going to measure and ticket your sides

Possible but here in good ole St. Louis our cops got bigger problems, haven't heard of many people getting hassled around here. Thank you Ferguson...?..

I dont know how you guys see at night with anything darker than 20%. My truck had 20% rear and it was kinda hard for me to see. We had an Accord that had 10% in back and I had to use the side mirrors with the windows down just to see behind me. It also depends on what brand of tint as well. A 5% on one might be equivalent to a 15% on another. I have 3M Color Stable and it seems darker than other brands when compared side by side. BTW, I probably have horrible night vision.

5% is 5% is 5%. The manufacturer of the films measure it's transparency. The only thing that can affect the darkness AFTER application is any sort of tint glass has innately, such as solar ray glass. It's common for most glass to lower a percentage by between 1-5% visible light transmittance.
