I have a 2010 Tacoma access cab and would like to go at least a couple inches bigger with the tires. I'd like to keep the stock wheels if possible and don't mind adding a lift kit. Would like to avoid cutting the truck up. Anyone like to let me know what sizes of tires they may have put on stock rims on a truck like mine and had success. I have 265/65-17's right now. Maybe what lift kit you used too would help.

I'm also looking for a recommendation for a good all around summer / winter tire. I live in North Dakota, so it does have to handle snow and ice for a good part of the year.

The truck has a 6 speed manual, no locking differential, and yes is a 4x4 if any of that matters.

This will at least give me a place to start.

    Thanks
    TeaMan.

if you don't want to do any cutting, you'll have to stick with a 265/70/17. going to 33s will require the CMC and cutting part of the wheel well liner.

Stock wheels & lift will rub the UCAs, you could run 265/70 on the sport 17s ( I did this for a month or so and loved the looks and performance ) without any lift on your stock suspension, this is what I'd recommend to you good sir. :)
