Super quiet on the road and they work very well off-road, but mine are SL and not E rated, so that’s why they might be so quiet

Like some others said in this thread, my SR came on 245 Hankook HT's. I hated them. They threw rocks/pebbles like crazy up underneath my truck everytime I got on the highway, which made me cringe everytime in my brand new truck. I quickly took those and threw on 265 Falken Wildpeaks. I was immediately more happy with them, no more pebble throwing. I have since sold the hankooks and dont miss em.

I'd go for something cheaper like the Firestone Destination LE2s. I switched over to 16 inch rims and would go for OEM size. They are lighter (31lbs per tire rack) and cheaper than the Toyos.

Mine came with Hankook Dynopro HT, but I have the Goodyear Wrangler All Terrain Kevlar now and went up a size too

Also my 17 sport came with toyos on but the spare is a firestone destination. Now why would it not have all the same?

Dont know why people think the Firestones are junk. I am switching out soon for something better for winter but at 10k miles I am on track to get 50k miles out of them. They are fine for OEM tires...

Just like anything, it is all about percentage. What percent is good and what percent is bad. You got a "good percent". Quality products maybe have the 80/20% of good/bad. Others not so good is 50/50

Agreed, have 21k on mine, but will replace with a more aggressive tire when the time comes.

Good tires yes, but on a 4x4 taco, the do not belong.

I used to think this, in fact had been told by service guy once, I have since been convinced other wise.

Some dealers in the south add those on at the port. Hopefully you have better luck with your duratracs than I had with mine.

I have always bought Michelin and sold the other ones on Craigslist within two weeks of purchase of the truck.

Maybe on a dedicated off-road rig they are a poor choice, but for easy dirt trail use they are still serviceable.

Again, not saying they are bad. But I think they deserve a better looking and gripping tire.

2017 Sport, tires were the “Toyo Open Country” I am sitting with 57km on my truck and the tires still look good. Probably next June I will replace them.

Mine had the same tires, pebble slinging pissed me off too.

They were also garbage in the snow, even when almost brand new. I made it a year before I switched and much happier now.

I romped my stock Sport off road and did pretty darn well even with these stock tires and it was not a dirt road or dirt class 6 "road." However, I simply want a more aggressive tire that hopefully goes over 30k. Maybe I am dreaming

My soon to be new Sport has the Firestones. Ima try to negotiate something else. Think they would swap with an OR on the lot?
