I have been looking at some new tires for my 2017 off road, but am not sure which ones to go with. The two I have specifically been looking at are the Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac or the BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2.

Wondering if anyone has any opinions or reviews on these tires, along with any picture of them on their Tacoma’s so I could get a good view of them!

    Thanks :)

I have the Wrangler Duratracs, and they're the best tires I've ever owned.

Been on BFG Ko2's (285/60/18) for the last 6k miles. Very comfortable ride and quiet. Happy with the purchase.

A lot depends on what kind of off-roading do you plan on doing.

I have run both the Goodyear and BFG AT's. I really like the BFG's and they work well in a variety of off-road environments.

I put a set of Wild Peak AT3's on an FJ Cruiser and they perform well.

I had 265/75/16 BFG AT's on my 2017 OR for about 20,000 miles. I just replaced them with Cooper Discoverer ST Maxx 255/85/16. I haven't had a chance to test out the Cooper tires off road.

What I like about the BFG's is the stronger 3-ply sidewall. Cooper also has the stronger sidewall.

If most of your driving is on pavement, I would recommend the Wild Peak tires. If you are going to be doing some off-roading involving various terrains I would recommend the BFG's.

If you haven't heard, the falken at3w's are the new "in" tire.

KO2's and duratracs are still fine, but the Falkens are a better street tire. That's just what I'm hearing.

You'll hear good and bad reviews about all 3.

I have KO2's and I'm completely satisfied with them.

That said, they have a reputation for hydroplaning easily. I haven't had any problems, but I tend to slow down when I hit standing water.

Also, they can become noisy as they wear, but this can be true for any all terrain.

For the price, I don't know if I would buy them again. I think they're excellent tires, but it seems like they're falling behind the competition. At least, based on what I hear. I'll have to wait until I hear some long-term reviews on the Falkens before I'm fully convinced.

Had 6 sets of KO2’s between my FJ, 4R, Crosstrek.... Went with Cooper ST Maxx to try something different and I’m never going back. KO2’s were great but highway w/wet roads are scary on them. Digging the ST Maxx so far. Especially aired down.

If you are considering e load check these out, deep tread, lower cost, decent looking sidewall
