Need to put new tires on the wife's Impala. It's a 2011, tires are 225/55/R17.

I'm looking at the Hankook Ventus S1 Noble and the Dunlop Signature HP in the above size. These are both on sale through Tire Rack for between $82 and $86 per tire. Looking at the tread pattern, it looks like the Dunlops would have a little better stability.

They both say they are high performance tires meant for sports cars. Is that just marketing BS? I want her to have something that will be good in all weather and all seasons. She'll be driving about 100 miles a day on mostly highways. She's not a super aggressive driver, kind of a slow poke really, but needs good traction in case of deer or other animals trying to commit suicide with her car.

Originally not Expo AF! Kinda Expo AF now...lame.
Dunlops are made by Goodyear, so use that how you choose. Personally, I like the Hankooks.
