At that price I was a bit sceptacle but I am liking them so far. They balanced well and ride smooth. I've only had them for a week thought so time will tell. This weekend I should get them a little dirty

I have 315/70/17 Duratracs on my Rubicon and they have been amazing tires. Will definitely put them on my Tacoma. Easily worth the money.

Any MT will be far superior than any AT in any environment except pavement. I recommend the Wrangler MTR with Kevlar if available in your size due to the asymmetrical tread.

General Grabbers are a great AT that are almost an MT, they are cheap and have great reviews.

I'm not an offroad except at all but what I have done personally previious on my Tundra is have two sets of wheels. One set is the stock wheel with stock tires, when stock tires wear out, get some highway all season tires for normal driving, something with a good warranty for mileage, will handle will on the road. Then on 2nd set of wheels go full on mud tires. That way u can swap wheels easily. And mud tires are expensive and wear out much more quickly if used as a daily driver on pavement etc.. This way you get best of both, instead of middle of road cost and performance.

An MT is superior to an AT except on the street, sand, hard packed snow or ice, or pretty much anything that is hard packed.

And are they good when pulling a small enclosed trailer at around a 3,000 pound load?

Not a stereotypical AT tire but I got 265/75/16 Yokohama Geolander G015 for right around 600 out the door from Big O. Not super aggressive but a big jump from SR5 stocks and fits the bill for my 75% boring daily driver/ 25% lightweight to mild off 4x4 and camping trips in National Forests

I also was skeptical about the wildpeak AT3s.

So far no complains, about 5k on them... no premature wear, quite, and good off-road. So far the best tire I've had on-road and the second best I've had off-road. (2nd to the General Red labels.)

OP. I struggle with this myself. I like the wheels on the Limited model. So I want to save my wheels and save $$ but put on more off road capable tires. When you upgrade can you post pics
