Initially I had some issues as well, and it turned out they were not using the Haweka Precision Adapter Kit for Toyota wheels. (See attached) Called around and found a place with the adapter and my problem was solved.

This is pretty crazy, the first time I took it too the shop who said they had the adapter kit, they still didn't get the balance correct. Close, but no cigar... So I took it back again and raised the bullshit flag because I knew it was a balance issue and watched the tech balance them and what do you know? Vibration free.:frusty:

I like the nitto also. They had those on hand to see. Said to get 10 ply and not 6. Wasn't sure what that was all about. The tread design I guess. Both the copper and the Nitto are close in price.

They balanced just fine I've got a lot of lead on the wheels but they are in balance. I try to keep the weight in a place that doesn't rub on the calipers and get em rebalanced ever 5000 miles. Americans tire dose it just fine.

I had a set of Duratracs for 55k miles, and while they performed well they were loud and got louder as they racked up miles. I would go with Cooper AT3s.

Best tire for the price seems to be Cooper AT3 but if you don't need that all terrain look the best tire is hands down, the Michelin LTX MS2 (Defender)

Yeah they've done great in everything I've thrown at them and they're not loud either.

The "75" basically means more rubber on the wall right? I think I want to stay with the 70. Been reading all over on the forum. Can't figure out if 275 70 17 will work with no rubbing!? Half dozen say no running and half say some rubbing. Decisions....

Just an FYI, I just ordered a set of Cooper Discoverer AT3 from discount tire direct for $436 shipped! They also come with a $70 rebate. I thought it was a good deal.
