Ok ladies and gentlemen I have a 2011 Tacoma trd off road that has the original factory wheels and tires on it. They are 265/70r16, but they are nearing the end of their life. I have also noticed uneven wear on the outside of the front drivers side tore which I'm guessing could mean I need some suspension work but that I will deal with separately. I am looking for a tire that has superb durability under any conditions and is a capable off-road tire under any situations. I do not rock climb or do any crazy off-roading but it's a capability I want to have and I do spend some time on trails. Snow performance is of zero importance as I live in Florida but wet/dry on road performance is important. I do not want excessive road noise and I want to keep the quality of ride I have come to enjoy from my current tires. Also is there an advantage to 75 instead of 70's? Bf Goodrich ko2's have been recommended by a friend and the thread on here for the cooper st max is very impressive. They seem to be very durable and still offer a good on road ride. I am open to suggestions. If there is something out there that offers a high value or something with a descent longevity that would be nice as well but I am really looking to see what you all would recommend. Thanks so much to everyone. This forum has been a lot of fun to read!

Thanks for the reply. I ended up getting the BFG KO2's and I am very happy with them. Also I did go for the 265/75/16 and I'm glad I did. Fills out he wheel well very well and looks great. I literally had the tires in a dirt trail and about 18 inch deep water in less than a quarter mile of using the tires. I like them so far. Not sure how the on road performance was really affected if at all. Definitely happy.
