I’m going to pick up my Tacoma this Saturday.

Why should I ask dealer to throw in to get deal done?

I’ve already asked for mudflaps and he’s throwing in tint and mats.

Obviously, I’m not going to ask for things that are rather expensive such as, tonneau cover, steps, etc. Trying to think of small things.

Also, what are the best dealer mats? Should I ask for exhaust tip or add my own since I’m wanting a black one?

Just so you know dealers don't throw stuff in either way your paying for it. Be better to tell them what you want and what your willing to pay for the truck with all the additions. Why ask...is an invitation to get bent.

I understand your point, but he’s already thrown in tint (even though i don’t really need it because I will have it tinted darker), all weather mats, and mudflaps...and didn’t change the price. Can’t hurt to ask for a few more and see? Worst he can say is “i’ll have to charge for those”.

Throwing in tint...that you don't really need! Understand how that sounds? Don't ask for anything...you tell them...I want this truck with this this and this....7 to 10% off the msrp is a fair price to pay for a Tacoma given supply and demand and market conditions. Your the buyer that means your in charge...take the word "ask" out of your vocabulary
