You don't need to get an exhaust... You will gain the same performance with a muffler. I would highly recommend Borla or magnaflow. Don't get a FM muffler or Gibson.

Thanks for all the responses! To answer the responses that say I should save my money and lift it like I want to: my dad isnt allowing me to lift my truck, so thats why. My plan was I would pay for every cent of the lift wheels and tires but he just wasn't up for it. So now hopefully he'll let me do these cheaper mods. Right now, I'm leaning towards just welding in a new muffler and nice tip. That'll be cheaper than duals for sure. And depending on how the pre cut tint from ebay is, I may gve that a shot seeing how cheap it is, and if i dont like it, I should just be able to remove pretty easy I would think.

Well technically you can't in PA, either. I don't really look at what's illegal, I look at what's likely to get you pulled over. You can only have 70 on the fronts here which naturally is essentially nothing and I doubt most places have that light. Are they strict with actually pulling people over there for it? I never had problems with 35 all the way around on my last car, might be pushing it with 15 on the Tacoma but haven't had any issues yet in the 6 months it's been on, knock on wood. I've had cops sitting right next to me at traffic lights and look at it and just be on their way.

I like taking it to someone to tint the windows professionally. And most of the time they have better tint and a warranty of some sort with it. I did just 20% on the front but I have a couple friends that did 15 or 5 on the back and 35 up front but it looks a little odd to me. I'm not sure where your located but everywhere I've been, no one messed with me.

Go with Madico tint that has ceramic in it and it will help keep your cab cooler and will reject alotof the heat...much better for the interior...

9" 5% front window strip, tailgate light bar, pulled off TRD stickers, removed mud flaps, blacked out tail lights very soon. There's a lot more coming, this is just the beginning.
I'd say go with the 20% tint and take the chance. Here in NJ it's illegal for any tint on the front windows as well as the strip on the windshield but it's worth the risk. If NC is anything like Jersey you can always go to a shop for inspection instead of DMV and they won't make you pull the tint off. Completely up to you though.
