So as soon as my tax returns come back in, I'm going to have some cash to use for some truck mods. I can't decide which one I want to do first. I want to get a intake system and lift my truck, but I can't do them both at the same time due to money issues. I have decided to go with a TRD Cold Air Intake System (I can get a pretty good dealer discount). The lift I plan on doing is using Bilstein Shocks up front and AAL in the rear (I already have the extra leaf spring thanks to the TSB). I use my Tacoma as my daily driver and I drive about 40 miles a day in this stupid stop and go San Diego traffic. I do take the truck offroading, but not that often (maybe once every other month right now).

So what does everyone think that I should do first?

Thanks, in advance, for the inputs.

did you watch the news today? Commonnity prices are going up on almost all food products, save your tax return check and spend it on food, stock up on #10 cans of pork and beans, buy 50 lb bags of rice (rice will almost keep forever), oh yea, stock up on ammo cause people may try to kill you for your stockpile of food
MRE's are almost impossible to get, they are selling as fast as they are produced
go ahead and laugh at me, by this time next year you'll know I was right!

I don't think he's going to have to worry about food...

    Chief,

I'd probably go with the lift, seeing as how that'd make your truck a little more trail friendly. Even if you only go every other month or so, a Cold Air Intake isn't going to make your truck any more or less capable. They look nice and sound nice, but unless you're supercharged or tuned, their power advantages are minimal to nil.

If it was me I would NOT waste 250+ on a CAI. That 250 could be much better spent on 5100's.
